Install on Mac
Download the universal DMG, open it, and drag FFui into Applications. The build includes Apple silicon and Intel binaries.
This preview is ad hoc signed and not Apple notarized. If macOS blocks the first launch, open FFui from Finder’s context menu and review the system prompt.
Mac terminal
After the scripted startup sequence, FFui opens a local shell. The panels show available system readings and the current directory. Open Tools to resolve a hostname, inspect its TLS certificate, check a localhost port, list TCP listeners or scan for advertised Bonjour services nearby.
The eDEX-UI on-screen keyboard sends input to the terminal. A physical keyboard works too.
Phone tools
Open FFui in a phone browser to use DNS, HTTPS headers, public IP, round-trip time, subnet and SHA-256 tools. A Mac shell is available only in the installed Mac app.
Bonjour discovery requires the installed iOS app and Local Network permission. The browser cannot scan for nearby services.
